Civil Rights Conference

Registration is now open for the 23rd Annual Civil Rights Conference. Since 2004, the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Civil Rights Office (CRO) has hosted this annual gathering for subcontractors, prime contractors, concessionaires, and industry stakeholders. This year’s conference takes on even greater significance as it focuses on the sweeping program changes introduced through the Interim Final Rule (IFR). Attendees will receive an early, in-depth look at the new requirements and updates reshaping the future of the DBE/ACDBE and small business programs across the construction industry.

Whether you're preparing to adapt to the new program structure, exploring upcoming contracting opportunities, or seeking strategies to strengthen your business, this conference is your comprehensive, go-to resource. Best of all, the event is free and open to all.

Small Business & Prime Contractor Matchmaking Event!

Kick off the upcoming construction season by joining us for an engaging networking event designed to connect small businesses with prime contractors in a collaborative, face-to-face setting. This is your opportunity to build new partnerships, strengthen existing relationships, and position your organization for upcoming project opportunities.

Small business will have direct access to prime contractors, the chance to ask questions about the bidding process, and the opportunity to gain valuable insights to help your business compete and grow. This event is especially beneficial for newer firms looking to establish themselves and make meaningful industry connections.

Prime contractors are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to support good faith efforts, meet emerging businesses, and engage in productive conversations that go far beyond what email alone can accomplish. We recommend bringing project managers and team members involved in bidding and procurement to get the most out of the experience.

All organizations are welcome to bring multiple representatives. Enjoy great food and refreshments provided by AGC of Alaska while building the connections that will help drive a successful construction season.
