Permit System Update

DOT&PF is transitioning to a new permitting system, and during this period different permit types will be submitted through different platforms.

• Lane Closure Permits are once again available through the ePermits system. If you need a lane closure, please submit your application there.
• Utility Permits and Encroachment Permits should continue to be submitted through the AK DOT&PF Permit Portal until a replacement system is ready. Any applications you've already submitted will remain available, and your existing data will be preserved throughout this transition.

We’re working toward a modern, unified system for all permit types and will share updates as soon as more information is available. In the meantime, please continue using the systems noted above.
