The Fairbanks International Airport will begin the reconstruction of the General Aviation Apron next month. The project will include replacing pavement, installing electric pedestals, and painting new space location letters for each Tiedown space. The construction will be managed in 3 phases of development and will ultimately increase the number of tiedown spaces to approximately 269 post-construction with more electric spaces as well as more Taxi-Thru with electric spaces available for permit holders.
