Section Responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing, monitoring, managing and preparation of the department’s annual operating and capital budgets.
- Responsible for analyzing, monitoring, managing and preparation of budget amendments, revised programs, supplemental budgets, legislative budget requests and coordinating performance measure reporting.
- Responsible for departmental policy and procedures and training related to budget processes. Ensure compliance with state laws and other procedures.
- Provide advisory and technical support on budget issues.
- Serve as a department liaison with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Legislative Finance budget staff on budget development and administration.
