Storm Water/Erosion and Sediment Control Plans

The Northern Region Hydraulics Group assists in the design and review of the review of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP) for ADOT projects in the Northern Region.  Chapter 16 of the AK Highway Drainage Manual covers the current ADOT policy and criteria for development of ESCPs.  The Northern Region Hydraulics Group is the point of contact for the DEC Storm Water Plan Review (letter of non-objection).

The Northern Region Hydraulics Group is responsible for the design - or approval of the design if done by consultant - of permanent storm water BMPs for ADOT projects in the Northern Region.  The Northern Region Hydraulics Group also provides technical assistance on storm water issues including: runoff estimates for BMP design, storm drain systems, and Storm Water permitting (CGP, MSGP and MS4).
