The Northern Region Hydraulics Group is responsible for the design - or approval of the design if done by consultant - of permanent erosion control structures for ADOT projects in the Northern Region. Examples of permanent erosion control structures include: streambank protection/stabilization, energy dissipation devices at culvert outlets, and/or retention/detention ponds and ditch dikes.
The Northern Region Hydraulics group also provides Design Assistance and Technical Support for the development of temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCP) within Northern Region.
