Transportation Plans

   

Regional Transportation Plans guide long-term transportation improvements by addressing needs, setting goals, and prioritizing projects to enhance mobility, safety, and sustainability while supporting economic growth.

Southcoast Region consists of two Sub-Areas:

  • Southeast: Southeast Panhandle from Yakutat to Metlakatla
  • Southwest: Aleutian Chain, Bristol Bay Borough, Lake & Peninsula Borough, Kodiak Island, Dillingham Census Area and the Pribilof Islands

Southeast Alaska Transportation Plan Update (2025/26)

    The Alaska DOT&PF Southcoast Region has begun updating the Southeast Alaska Transportation Plan (SEATP) to shape the future of transportation in the region. Stay tuned as we share new developments and progress right here!

Southwest Alaska Transportation Plan Update (2027)

    The Alaska DOT&PF Southcoast Region will begin updating the Southwest Alaska Transportation Plan (SWATP) to shape the future of transportation in the region.
