Public Involvement

ADOT&PF asked for your participation in the development of the Wendell Avenue Bridge replacement project. We conducted a series of open house meetings so you could help us with design decisions that will help to create a useful facility for the community. We had questions, and you gave us answers. Your answers, comments, and suggestions regarding this project are appreciated.

We will continue to update this project website with new information as it becomes available.

Open House Meeting Information

A series of three open house meetings were held for this project. Each meeting focused on a new and different set of issues.

  • The March 27 open house meeting provided a general project overview and focused on bicycle/pedestrian connectivity options.
  • The May 8 open house meeting provided a review of feedback received and focused on bridge railing and lighting options.
  • The October 29 open house meeting provided a review of how feedback received has influenced the project design and presented the next steps in the project development.
