Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Workshop

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), as part of its ongoing Every Day Counts Round 5 (EDC-5) initiative, along with the Alaska Department of Transportation and the Alaska Local Technical Assistance Program are offering a two-day interactive workshop on UAS.

Attendees will hear from subject matter experts on:

• Starting and growing a UAS program
• Implementing UAS technology in support of key transportation applications
• Technology and UAS use case examples

National Drone Safety Awareness Week

November 16-22, 2020

Building a community of safety in the drone community is critical for full integration of UAS into the NAS.  All stakeholders in the drone industry can do their part to get the word out about drone safety to current and future pilots.  National Drone Safety Awareness week is a great opportunity for everyone interested in drones to  learn from one another.
