The DMIO was established in 2023 in recognition of the central role data plays in DOT&PF's efforts to modernize and innovate its operations and project delivery.
The DMIO's purpose is to assist the department in meeting its mission to Keep Alaska Moving by acquiring, integrating, analyzing, and making data available to the public and our employees. Making smart and transparent transportation decisions hinges on our ability to manage and share the data housed within our department.
