AMHS Summer Ferry Schedule Now Available For Bookings

(JUNEAU, Alaska) – The AMHS 2025 summer Schedule is now available for reservations.

"With the release of the 2025 summer schedule, we are focused on building a modern and resilient Alaska Marine Highway System," said Ryan Anderson, Commissioner of DOT&PF. "We recognize the impacts of the upgrades to vessels and terminal facilities over the coming year to our schedule, and we appreciate the public's feedback and patience as we continue our efforts."

The summer schedule was designed to accommodate coastal communities' special events to the greatest extent practicable. The department will also contract supplemental service if needed to cover service disruptions.

February 7 to February 14, 2025 service interruption for MV Hubbard

The MV LeConte's overhaul, including essential steel work, was originally expected to be completed by April 1 but will now extend into May 2025. To minimize future service disruptions, the MV Hubbard will undergo a short overhaul and inspections from February 7 to February 14, 2025. This proactive maintenance ensures the Hubbard can remain operational for the rest of the winter and throughout the busy summer schedule. Originally, the Hubbard's overhaul was planned for mid-May, which, combined with the LeConte's delay, would have created a service gap during the peak travel season. AMHS is actively planning supplemental service to cover the brief gap caused by the Hubbard's temporary withdrawal from service.
