ANC Holiday Performance Series - FAQ

  • What is the ANC Holiday Performance Series?

ANC hosts community performances of all kinds during the Holiday Season in the area in front of TSA Security. The 2024 Holiday Performance Series will host performances on a Thursday through Sunday schedule from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm starting December 5 and will run until December 29.

  • How do I participate in the ANC Holiday Performance Series?

Please complete the online application which will be sent to the event coordinator. The Liability Release can be completed online but then it needs to be printed and physically signed. You can scan and send it to dot.ancholidays@alaska.gov or take a photo of the signed and completed document and text it to 907-744-4022.

  • What is included when performing at the Airport?

ANC provides a stage space, chairs and electricity. We will also provide curbside unloading and loading at the departure curb Door 4. ANC will provide complimentary parking for all performers but we ask you not to park on the curb.

Electricity: The outlets are three-pronged outlets 15/20 amp circuits. You must bring your own extension cords. We recommend cords at least 20' long.

Parking: you can park your vehicles in the South Terminal lots (parking garage or long-term parking lots). There will be an assigned ANC employee who will distribute parking coupons to all performers. These coupons are presented at the exit gate attendants.

  • Do you provide microphones or PA system?

No, sorry. Any type of instrument or aid for your performance, you must bring yourself and be able to load and unload into the terminal.

  • Can my group put out a tip jar and/or sell CD's?

No. Because the airport is a state facility, there are strict guidelines around soliciting sales when you are not an airport leaseholder (concession).

  • Can my group promote ourselves with signage?

YES! We encourage you to bring any promotional signage to announce your performance. ANC will provide an easel for this purpose.

  • How many people can be in my performance group?

The Anchorage Airport has room for up to 30 singers in a choir-style group. The stage will hold 4 – 6 band members.

  • What if I want to perform on a date outside the series dates?

We prefer you find a time and date that works with the published schedule, to ensure your group gets as much exposure as possible.
