AMATS: Old Seward Hwy Spur Pavement Preservation

Project Overview

The project will resurface the Old Seward Hwy Spur between Rabbit Creek Road and Potter Valley Road. The project will address drainage and stream culvert issues which are contributing to the deterioration of the roadway, and may also include roadside hardware, ADA improvements, safety improvements, brush removal, ditch restoration, and utility work as necessary.  The project will also evaluate the installation of a crosswalk at the Potter Valley Road intersection.

What's Happening Now

A National Environmental Policy Act document is being prepared and anticipated to be complete this spring.  Data is being gathered and evaluated for the preliminary design.

Schedule

Construction is anticipated in summer of 2026.
