Old Seward Highway Pavement Preservation Project
The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) will resurface Old Seward Highway, from O'Malley Road to Rabbit Creek Road. This project's goal is to extend the service life of the road and restore it back to good condition. The project will tackle surface defects such as ruts or areas with high roughness, by resurfacing the existing roadway. Other work may include improvements to:

Huffman Road Pavement Preservation Project
Due to deteriorated pavement condition, the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) proposes to resurface Huffman Road from Old Seward Highway to Birch Road as part of the larger project Anchorage Area Group A Pavement Preservation. This project would extend the service life of the roadway and reduce future maintenance costs. The key design features of this project may include:
