SEWARD HIGHWAY CLOSURES FLYER

(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) – The Seward Highway will close nightly from Mile 52-52.5, just south of the Hope Highway, 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from July 27 through Aug. 27. This closure will allow crews to work on installing a large cross pipe, which requires the entire roadway to be open.

Please note: The closures on the Seward Highway at Miles 99-100, just south of Bird Creek, will continue on Tuesday, July 28, and Thursday, July 30, also from 9:30-10:30 p.m. On these two days, the highway will be closed at both Mile 52-52.5 and Miles 99-100 from 9:30-10:30 p.m. We ask that drivers plan accordingly.

These closures are part of repaving and safety improvement projects on the Seward Highway. For more information, visit AlaskaNavigator.org or 511.Alaska.Gov.
