(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) – The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) will hold a Virtual Public Meeting on the Draft 2027–2030 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Please join us for a brief presentation on the Draft 2027-2030 STIP. Staff will be available to answer questions about the Draft STIP and document public comments. Projects included in the STIP support a wide range of infrastructure improvements, including roads, ferries, transit systems, trails, and safety enhancements that connect communities and strengthen Alaska’s economy. DOT&PF encourages public participation in the review process.

Public Review and Comment Period
Public input is a critical component of the STIP process, helping ensure that transportation investments reflect community priorities and statewide needs. The Draft 2027–2030 STIP is open for public review and comment for 45-days, from September 14 through October 29, 2026. An improved public comment portal makes it easy for Alaskans to explore projects and share input.
