Thriving Communities Program
The Alaska DOT&PF Thriving Communities Program (TCP) is a three-year effort, in partnership with the Alaska Municipal League, to support local governments, Regional Planning Organizations, and tribes in planning and implementing transportation projects to enhance infrastructure, boost economies, and improve quality of life.

TCP provides communities with:
- Planning assistance – support in developing transportation plans, facilitate public involvement
- Technical Assistance – project development, grant application processes, identify and access funding sources
- Capacity Building – provide organizational support, technical tools and expertise needed to successfully plan, fund and implement infrastructure projects
