The Alaska Active Transportation Coalition (AATC) is comprised of a transdisciplinary group of transportation & public health professionals, advocates, and engaged community members dedicated to creating safe, sustainable, and accessible transportation options across Alaska. We are leading the charge to create a transportation environment in Alaska that values safety, health, sustainability, and transportation choices.

The vision of the AATC is safe, equitable, and accessible active transportation for all Alaskans.
The mission of the AATC is to promote active transportation through collective action to sustain healthy lifestyles, economies, and the environment across Alaska.

We focus on promoting walking, biking, and other non-motorized transportation alternatives to foster healthier lifestyles, reduce environmental impact, and improve mobility for all Alaskans. By informing decision-makers we aim to create safer infrastructure, supportive policies, and public awareness, AATC aims to make active transportation an integral part of Alaska's transportation network. By promoting active transportation, AATC aims to create vibrant, accessible communities where everyone can travel safely and actively. We want to ensure a more connected, equitable, and livable future for all Alaskans.

Join us in shaping Alaska's transportation future!
