TSA Cares Program

Travelers with disabilities, medical conditions, or other special circumstances can receive personalized assistance through the TSA Cares program. To arrange support, contact TSA Cares at (855) 787-2227 at least 72 hours before your flight. More details can be found on the TSA Cares website.

Security Screening Tips

  • Prohibited Items: Ensure your carry-on and checked luggage do not contain prohibited items. For a full list, visit the TSA's Prohibited Items page.

  • Liquids Rule: You may carry liquids, gels, aerosols, creams, and pastes in containers of 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less, all placed in a single quart-sized, clear, resealable plastic bag. Exceptions include medically necessary liquids and hand sanitizers.

  • Identification Requirements: Passengers aged 18 and older must present a valid (non-expired) ID at the security checkpoint. Acceptable forms of ID include:

    • U.S. state-issued driver's license or photo ID

    • U.S. passport or passport card

    • DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)

    • U.S. Department of Defense ID

    • Permanent resident card

    • Foreign government-issued passport

  • REAL ID Compliance: Beginning May 7, 2025, every traveler 18 years or older will need a REAL ID-compliant license or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the U.S. Learn more at tsa.gov/real-id.
