DOT&PF is proud to work alongside the King Cove community. In fewer than five days, more than 20 local residents took time away during the fishing season to complete safety training and earn DOT&PF certificates supporting their participation in this important project. Five additional community members enrolled in a four-week course and have earned their commercial driver's licenses.
This investment is about more than building a road—it is also about creating local skills, employment opportunities, and lasting benefits. We are honored to work with the people of King Cove to advance a road the community has sought for generations.
