(Anchorage, Alaska) – Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is recruiting for the position of Operations Superintendent. 

The Operations Superintendent supervises a wide range of employees including Communications Specialists and Operations Officers.  This position is responsible for the daily operational compliance and safety of both the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and the Lake Hood Seaplane Base.  The Operations Superintendent must be able to think and make sound decisions quickly, have demonstrated exemplary problem solving skills, and the ability to analyze complex situations.

This individual may be asked to perform the duties of the Airport Manager if needed.  The position requires and understanding of airport and state regulations, protocol and public interaction, budget development, and establishing policy and procedures.  This position works directly with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Security Administration as well as various managers, airlines, and staff at the airport.
