Anchorage Airport Offers On-Demand Shuttle Service from North (International) Terminal

(Anchorage, Alaska) – Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is changing the route of its airport shuttle bus service at the North (International) Terminal.  It will now be available via a dedicated telephone for airport shuttle service.  The line has been installed inside the North Terminal at the South East exit door, near the shuttle bus stop.  Passengers wishing to be picked up at the North Terminal call for service from the dedicated line and the next available airport shuttle bus will include the North Terminal in their pick-up route.

Until now, service has been available on a 15-minute rotating basis between the South (Domestic) Terminal, North (International) Terminal and on-airport parking areas.

Since the Connector hallway between the North and South Terminals was completed, airport shuttle bus passenger use of the North Terminal stop has declined.  Beginning July 1, 2012, the North Terminal stop will be available on an on-demand basis.  Airport shuttle bus service at the airport is provided by Republic Parking System, a member of the Customer Service Partnership.

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) oversees 254 airports, 11 ferries serving 35 communities, 5,700 miles of highway and 660 public facilities throughout the state of Alaska. The mission of ADOT&PF is to “Get Alaska Moving through service and infrastructure.”
