Completion of Water Street Trestle Replacement

(KETCHIKAN, Alaska) – Media and the public are invited to join residents of Water Street, Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilitates, Dawson Construction, R&M Engineering, and local officials for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Ketchikan-Water Street Trestle #2 Replacement project.

What: Water Street Trestle #2 Ribbon-Cutting

When: Friday, June 28, 2019, from 4-6 PM.

Where: Water Street at Gorge Street parking area, Ketchikan, Alaska

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities oversees 237 airports, 9 ferries serving 35 communities along 3,500 marine miles, over 5,600 miles of highway and 839 public facilities throughout the state of Alaska. The mission of the department is to “Keep Alaska Moving through service and infrastructure.”
