Description: This federally funded contract will perform drilling between Port Graham and Nanwalek, Alaska beginning approximately May 2022. This project site is the location for a proposed new airport and access roads to both Port Graham and Nanwalek. This drilling is in support of gathering geotechnical design data. Approximately 47 test holes are planned with some requiring the installation of slope inclinometers. Drill rig and associated tooling and materials will be air lifted to drill sites via helicopter. Field work will be supervised by a DOT&PF engineering geologist. Helicopter services will be procured under a separate contract and provided by the Department for the work described.

Description: This federally funded project includes replacement and upgrades to the existing mechanical heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment damaged during the 2018 earthquake. This includes replacing two central air handlers, return fans, louvres, heat exchangers, pumps, and associated ductwork in the penthouse mechanical room. The work also includes an Enhancement option to replace variable air volume boxes and upgrade associated controls in the basement.
