|Remember, as a prime contractor, you do NOT have to solicit bids from DBE firms that have indicated 'Required GFE Contact - NO' for either the work category or region.|

|The first tab on the DBE Email List contains contact information of all certified DBE firms. The second tab on the DBE Email List contains DBE Work Categories which allows a user to filter through work categories, GFE status, location, and region.|

The Alaska Unified Certification Program (AUCP) does not, as a result of this listing, make any representation concerning the ability of any listed firm to perform work in the NAICS /Work Category listed. This Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE/ACDBE) Directory is intended to be used as an “informational source only”. This Directory lists the most current AUCP DBE/ACDBE firms certified in accordance with 49 CFR 26 and 49 CFR 23.
Certification does not mean that a firm is in any way prequalified. Before awarding a contract, the AUCP strongly recommends that the contractors to consider the following:
Important note regarding Commercially Useful Function (CUF): Per DBE regulation 49 CFR 26.73 (a)(1), consideration of whether a firm performs CUF is NOT reviewed when making decision to certify firms as DBEs. Certification is based primarily on the disadvantaged owner proving that he/she can own and control a firm engaged in the primary activity it is being certified for.
