Public Involvement

DOT&PF is committed to working with the public to share timely information, and will seek and consider public feedback on issues relating to project design and construction.

You can participate in the Seward Highway MP 25.5-36 project in several ways, including:

  • Sign up for our email contact list – receive meeting notices, project announcements and other up-to-date information in your email inbox.

  • Public Meetings: The Department has hosted four public open houses, with a final open house planned prior to construction. A big THANK YOU to all who have participated in this public engagement effort. The Department is reviewing elements of the design based on information and feedback learned through this outreach.

    For those unable to attend an open house, or simply for general project information, you can find a video about the project here or view other documents including a summary of public involvement activities in the project library.

  • Transportation Fairs: The Department invites everyone to come see the project booth at the Anchorage Transportation Fair on March 28, 2024.

The Department will provide updates on the project at future Transportation Fairs and conduct a final public meeting when the project advances to construction.
